The last decade has seen the aviation industry face some of its most difficult challenges. From the ever present threat of international terrorism to the disruption caused by the volcanic ash cloud and the more recent global economic crisis, these are turbulent times for this dynamic industry and its leaders.
As CEO of Birmingham Airport, Paul Kehoe has had to confront these challenges head on and will be talking about what it takes to stay ahead of the competition in these difficult times, how he has adapted his own management and leadership style in response and the ambitious plans he has for the airport's future.
Paul will also be sharing the lessons he has learned from a wealth of top level business experience and giving a unique insight into how he and his team manage the demands of running a major international airport which handles over 9 million passengers a year and stands as one of the biggest employers in the region.
Biography
Paul Kehoe is Chief Executive of Birmingham Airport and prior to that was Chief Executive at Bristol International Airport. He has worked for a variery of companies including British Aerospace, Serco plc and TBI plc. Paul holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and is a member of the exclusive CEO Group.
