The Challenge - project team meeting
Date: Sunday 26th April, 2009
Venue: 18.00-20.00 h, Swan House, 33 Queen Street, London, EC4R 1AP (nearest tube stations are Bank, Mansion house and Cannon street)
One of the projects JCI London aims to host later this year has been given the title “The Challenge” and will be based on the successful BBC series “The Apprentice”.
With a new series of “The Apprentice” just started we hope there will be many among you who think that JCI members can do a better job than those candidates. Our task, however, will be to organise and host the event for others to participate at the end of this year. And to make that happen will be a big challenge, as well as for those candidates taking part (hence the title).
If you are inspired by watching “The Apprentice” and have some ideas on how to organise our own version, then you are invited to attend the project team’s meeting on Monday 27th of April. Please come along if you want to take on a project role like Marketing, Sponsoring, or supporting roles, or if you have an answer to one of the following questions:
- What task would you give the participants?
- How do you to identify and approach potential candidates?
- Who would be the “Alan Sugar”?
- How would you promote and finance the project?
- How to make it better than the TV version?
Come along to find out what the project is about. Due to the nature of the event we need to keep the task a secret, thus we advise you to come along if you are serious about joining the team. If you have any questions about the project and what your role might be, then please contact Marco van den Heuvel.
Please sign up on the right-hand side (for dietary requirements fill in “none” and phone number without hyphen).
