A fun and social weekend in Berlin!

Come along to Berlin for a weekend full of fun and socialising, hosted by JCI Berlin and attended by several members of their other twin chambers. This twinning weekend will start on Friday 3rd July and end on Sunday 5th July 2009.

If you have never been to Berlin before, then this is a great and unique opportunity to explore the city with your new found friends from Berlin. And if you have been there before, you will be experiencing the city in a very different way.

Program
Friday 3 July.
Chilling out at the beach “Oststrand”
… get into the weekend on a deckchair at the Spree river in East Berlin … directly at the East
Side Gallery (the well-known 1.3 km long painted piece of the Berlin wall)
from 7 p.m.

Saturday 4 July.
Guided fashion tour
…speak to selected designers and get the brand new style on a fashion trade show and well-
known designer shops in Berlin-Mitte
10.00 a.m. – 13.00 p.m.
Alternatively professional training
10.00 a.m. – 13.00 p.m.

Afternoon: time for relaxing, shopping, visiting your favorite museum or going for a guided bike
tour “The Wall”

Evening event “… beat of berlin at the Brandenburg Gate”
Reception and Summer party of JCI Berlin…get another beat of berlin directly at the Branden-
burg Gate on the upper floor of the Dresdner Bank Building … try to touch the Brandenburg
Gate! Sensational!
7 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Clubbing tour including a visit of the well-known “Curry 36” in Berlin-Kreuzberg, taste the best
Berlin “Currywurst” in town
1 a.m. – open end

Sunday 5 July
Berlin Sunday Brunch
… in the garden restaurant of a Berlin Twenties ballroom in Berlin-Mitte “Clärchens Ballhaus”
… did you know that Berlin is one of the most important Tango cities in the world? … enjoy a
one hour Tango dancing lesson in between

Home hospitality will be provided. Not only will that save you money on hotel costs, you will get to experience what is like to live in that amazing city! The main thing you need to do is book a return flight and get plenty of rest before a full-packed weekend in this fantastic city. Depending on their programme, a small fee will need to be paid to JCI Berlin for their expenses.
